This is the start of my blogging career and i am not sure how long it will take me to get up to sepeed. Sandra Gidley has shown me how to set this up so if it goes wrong i blame the lib dems. Anway here goes. It is 3.15.p.m. on Friday 11 march but it is really thursday here in the whacky world of westminster. It is Thursday because we have been sitting since 11.30.a.m on thursday morning and when we sit continuously it is regarded as the same day>

We will go back into the Chamber to debate the burden of proof and the sunset clauses of the terrorism provisions at 3.30. and no doubt be defeated by the labour side and send it back to the Lords. Everyone here is quite perky cinsidering they have been up all night and m howard made an incediblyrobust and inspiring speech in the Moses room some 2 hours ago. He was cheered to the rafters by all the tory peers and MP's. It feels as if parliament has at last come alive and shows that size isn't everything in politics and even when we are in the minority we can exercise democracy. Anyway i shall post this and see if i can get started with this blogging thing!!!
